REBUILD – RESTORE – RENEW!

We are a company of people who know and love their God, and who have longed to do exploits in His Name. We are a people of the Word and a people of His Spirit. We have longed to fulfill the Scripture from the Book of Isaiah that Jesus partially quoted in Luke 4. We have longed to proclaim the good news to the poor, to extend beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, such that it would cause all those who have been broken-hearted to arise as oaks of righteousness!

The Scriptures tell us that they who know their God shall do GREAT exploits! They tell us that He has pre-appointed our times and pre-appointed our boundaries so that in Him we can live and move and have our being. We believe that NOW is the set time of the LORD’s favor. So we DECREE that NOW and TOGETHER, we will rebuild, restore and renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for many generations.

Come dream with us, come believe with us, come build with us!

The Planting of the Lord

Isaiah 61:1-4 (NIV):

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.

An Oak Tree

An oak tree is a thing of great beauty, great strength and longevity. Its roots are the first part of the tree that grow. Its trunk is tough and can store water so it can survive drought, storms, and even fires. If an oak tree is cut down, its roots can sprout again. Its crown of branches, leaves, and acorns provide shelter and food for many different species of animals including insects. It also provides for other plant life. The wind that blows through its leaves helps it to pollinate and produce fruit. It is a tree of the generations as some types can live from 200 to 1000 years.
