A Testimony
There is a Kingdom that already exists that is greater than every darkness that you see. You can abide under it’s shadow even now. You have a place at the King’s table there and you can enjoy even now it’s abundant supply of goodness—righteousness, peace, joy, healing, deliverance, truth, love, mercy. There you are more than a conqueror and you can experience that now. There you are a king, a priest, a son and you can experience that now. How, you may ask?
Through faith in Jesus (Yeshua).
Over 40 years ago, I saw this faith shining out through others when I was full of hopelessness and despair, and I wanted it, I needed it. So I asked the elders, how do I get that?
And they told me that Jesus paid the price for me to have that eternal life of goodness and I just needed to confess that I had fallen short (sin) and accept Him as my Lord & Savior. I did that—yay!!! Since then, through Jesus’ disciples (known to me now as apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors and the equipped saints), His Word (written and prophetic), Baptisms (water & Holy Spirit) and being led by Holy Spirit, I have that same righteousness, peace and joy within me just like I saw shining out of others, and I also have a commissioning to release the kingdom of heaven on the earth (Matthew 6).
We have an enemy.
Satan runs the kingdom of this world and he steals, kills and destroys with his greed, pride, lies, deceptive arguments, divisions, accusations, poverty, sickness, disease, hopelessness and despair. (Below are crude drawings but that is what it looks like.) BUT—Greater is Jesus that is in me, than Satan that is in the world.
An Invitation.
The Lord asked me to invite people to the tables He is preparing for them—you are invited and He has a new garment for you to wear! (Revelation 5, 7, 22)
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.””
Romans 10:9-13 NIV
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
John 3:16-18 NIV
It’s so simple but it is so true. Come, rest in this Kingdom; it is a Tree of Life! You too will want to live there both now and forever–and you can, just ask!
